From Comeback to Champions - The Risers Aren't Done Yet

Muskegon, MI — The Muskegon Risers are Great Lakes North Division Champions. In their inaugural MASL3 season, they finished a remarkable 9-1, clinching the title in a dramatic season finale against the Cincinnati Swerve.

Trailing 5-2 heading into the fourth quarter, the Risers mounted a gutsy three-goal comeback to force overtime — showing exactly the grit and heart that defined their entire season. Though Cincinnati edged them out 6-5 in OT, Muskegon earned a point for making it to OT. Though they maintained a two-match lead on the Swerve. 

🏆 Next Stop: Fredericksburg, Virginia

The Risers now advance to the MASL3 National Tournament, March 27–29 in Fredericksburg, VA — representing Muskegon on the national stage.
