RISERS ANNOUNCE RETURN OF WOMEN’S TEAM, MASL UPDATE PLUS TRYOUTS
Muskegon, MI – Today the Muskegon Risers are excited to announce the return of women’s soccer to Trinity Health Arena following months of preparation by Head Coach, Michael Boogaart. The Risers women’s team will play three home games in the arena, which will help transition the program back into a full league schedule for future seasons. This move also corresponds with the men’s team playing a 5 home, 5 away game schedule in the MASL’s third division in order to have more regional focus while enjoying the benefits of MASL membership. Joining the Risers in the Great Lakes Division will be Detroit, Indiana, and Cincinnati. Season tickets are now available and include tickets to both men’s and women’s games in Downtown Muskegon’s Trinity Health Arena. Women’s tryouts will be held at Shoreline Soccer Club on Wednesday, November 19 from 7pm to 9pm. Men’s tryouts will be the following Sunday, November 23 from 10am to noon.
